Jimmy Gabriel
Ex- Dundee, Everton and Southampton player Jimmy played for the Seattle Sounders for five years in the late 70’s and indeed would manage and coach them at various points.

Archie Gemmill
Archie played for the Jacksonville Tea Men in 1982; he’s in the front row and is the furthest player on the right.
George Graham
George played in the NASL with California Surf in 1978
David Harvey
Ex-Leeds goalie Harvey played for the Vancouver Whitecaps in two spells in the early eighties.
Jim Holton
Big Jim played with the Miami Toros in 1976 and then Detroit Express in 1980

Bobby Hope
Bobby gained two Scotland caps in 1968 during his days with West Brom. This is him in 1975 with the Philadelphia Atoms whilst on loan from Birmingham City. Bobby would also play for the Dallas Tornado.

Willie Johnston
The irrepressible Bud was well loved by fans of the Vancouver Whitecaps playing for them in ’79 and once more in ’81.

Willie famously slugged a beer offered by a fan before taking a corner as time was running out. Vancouver scored as Willie crossed a peach of a ball into the area and in his honour there is a corner of their stadium named after him.
